About the Gallery

The new CAS Online Gallery is an experimental platform for showing computer artworks. It will host 2D images, 3D work, video, sound, and more. We plan to create a series of “wings” in the gallery that may use different platforms and technologies. The first of these is our Voxels Space, which is being built to host the CAS 2026 Members Exhibition. We are also looking at fresh ways to present the large body of work from our previous 20 Print exhibitions more interactively within the CAS Online Gallery.

Our Voxels Space

Avatars viewing digital artworks inside the CAS Online Gallery Voxels Space

Voxels is a browser-based virtual world with a block-style aesthetic reminiscent of Minecraft. We use it as a platform for creating experimental, interactive art spaces, exploring how artworks, sound, architecture, and participation can come together in a shared digital environment.
