CAS Website Development Plan

CAS Knowledge & CAS Network

We are rebuilding the Computer Arts Society website ahead of two new initiatives launching in 2027. CAS Knowledge will be a central repository for all our digital archives. CAS Network will help you discover digital art activities across the UK and connect with others interested in the field.

This major undertaking is supported by the Computer Arts Archive CIC, a nonprofit organisation based in Leicester.

Our schedule is:

• 18^th November 2026: announce the project with a Zoom talk and live demonstrations.
• 31^st December 2026: complete the current website’s transition to the new system.
• 1^st January 2027: begin developing CAS Knowledge and CAS Network.

Until the end of the year, some elements of the public website will remain a work in progress. This should not stop you using the site.

We will support this work through donations and grant applications. If you think you can help, please contact Dr Sean Clark, CAS Chair, at seanc@interactdigitalarts.uk.
